Alex Stanczyk, Managing Director
As one of several principle architects of Physical Gold Fund SP Mr. Stanczyk has been involved in core aspects of the Fund design and structuring, as well as coordinating strategic relationships required to launch the Fund. In 2011, Mr. Stanczyk played a key role as a designer of and advisor to the world’s first non-bank private custody fully SICAV compliant precious metals fund, the Luxembourg Precious Metals Fund – LFP Prime SICAV SIF. From 2007 through 2015, Mr. Stanczyk served in a range of capacities for the Anglo Far-East Group of companies where he specialized in physical precious metals logistics consulting for the groups’ global operations and developed and implemented the flagship programs such as Chain of Integrity, private allocated custody, and institutional allocated custody. He has consulted and lectured globally to and for family office, institutional, and government on gold and gold’s role in the international monetary system.

Nestor Castillero, Managing Director
Mr. Castillero is responsible for execution of trades and meeting all governance, regulatory, and reporting requirements for Physical Gold Fund SP. Prior to Physical Gold Fund SP, Mr. Castillero acted as an Investment Advisor to the Luxembourg-regulated Precious Metals Fund – LFP Prime SICAV SIF. Experience in the financial, securities, law, and real estate sectors have provided Mr. Castillero with a broad range of knowledge which adds to the robustness and continual improvement of processes and risk mitigation. Mr. Castillero holds licenses as a registered Fund Manager, Stock Broker, Investment Manager, Real Estate Broker, and Certified Public Translator for the jurisdiction of Panama. Mr. Castillero holds a degree in Law and Political Sciences from the Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua and a Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services from Boston University.
Perla Nunez de Cohen – Independent Director, Governance
Mrs. Nunez de Cohen brings over 18 years of experience in the securities and financial services sector to the Fund’s Board. Her connections globally with key banks and financial firms provide a deep network to call upon in service to the Fund. Mrs. Nunez de Cohen also serves as a compliance officer for Julius Baer, Panama, which is part of the Julius Baer group with CHF 254 Billion AUM (2013). Prior, she served as a compliance executive for Athena Capital Inc., a private wealth advisory firm. Mrs. Nunez de Cohen also served as Head of International Accounts for 16 years with Wall Street Securities, a firm with over $1Billion USD assets under management.
