James Rickards is an investment banker and investment adviser based in New York, and the author of the best-selling book, Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis. Mr. Rickards has held senior positions at Citibank, Long-Term Capital Management and Caxton Associates. In 1998, he was the principal negotiator of the rescue of LTCM sponsored by the Federal Reserve. His clients include institutional investors and government directorates. He is an adviser on capital markets to the Director of National Intelligence and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Juan Luis Surgeon
Mr. Juan Luis Surgeon brings institutional portfolio allocation experience to the fund’s Advisory Team from serving as Treasury Manager for one of Panama’s largest private banks, MMG, where he is responsible for the oversight and execution of strategic goals for the Treasury Department and the banks own investments. He is President of the Asset Liability Committee, which is responsible for the monitoring liquidity risk, interest rate risk and market risk, and as well establishes parameters for the management of these risks and provides a strategic plan for the bank’s balance sheet allocation with over $1Billion USD AUM.Prior to MMG, Mr. Surgeon managed the liquidity portfolio, trading of spot and forward currencies as well as derivatives and commodities trading, with over $600M in assets under management, for Multibank. Among his certifications and achievements, he is a licensed securities broker and principal executive in the Republic of Panama, and he holds a bachelor of Science in Finance from Smeal College of Business with Minor in Economics from the College of Arts and Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University since 2007.
Simon has spent over ten years as a market research analyst concentrating on economics, precious metals, energy and resources markets.
